What Is a Booklet?
A booklet is a small, multi-page document that combines text and visuals to share information in a compact and attractive format.
Unlike a long book or ebook, a booklet is short, focused, and easy to read. I often use booklets to explain a single topic, offer quick guides, or share promotional content without overwhelming the reader.
Booklets usually contain:
- A cover page
- Inside pages with content
- A back page with contact details or CTA
Below, I have attached an example of a booklet. Here, you can see that it has a cover page. Below, the cover page, you can see all the inside pages of the booklet. You can customize each page of the booklet in the Canva Editor - text, image, icons, background, and more.
Common booklet formats include:
- Educational booklets
- Product or service booklets
- Event or program booklets
- Instruction or training booklets
- travel booklets
With Canva, you don’t need to worry about page sizes, alignment, or fonts. Everything is drag-and-drop. From my personal experience, booklets perform really well as lead magnets and printable resources because they feel more “valuable” than a simple PDF.

Why Create a Booklet?
Creating a booklet helps you present information in a structured, professional, and visually appealing way. When I started offering free resources on my website, switching from plain PDFs to designed booklets instantly increased downloads and engagement.
Here’s why booklets work so well:
