If you're searching for a way to add curve to an image in your Canva designs, you've come to the right place.
Please note that there is no direct option to curve an image in Canva, instead you can add border to your image and make it curve.
In this blog article, I am going to show how to curve an image in Canva easily and quickly.

How to Curve an Image in Canva?
In just two steps, you would be able to curve your images in your Canva designs. Here is the step-by-step process to curve images in Canva.
Step 1: Create a New Design on Canva
First, you need to login to your Canva account and click on Create a Design button located at the top right of the Canva Dashboard.
Now, Canva will suggest you some popular designs like Facebook Post, Flyer, Doc, Whiteboard, Instagram Post, and more. You can also search for your design by entering your search term in the search bar.
Or, alternatively, you can also create a custom design by selecting Custom size option located at the bottom (see the below screenshot) and entering your preferred dimension.
For the sake of this tutorial, we will select Facebook Post (Landscape) as shown in the above screenshot.
As you select it, Canva Editor will open. Now, we will move on to the next step.
Step 2: Insert Your Image in Canva Design
Below is a screenshot of the Canva Editor where you can see your blank design.
Now, we will add an image to the blank design.
Please note that Canva offers multiple options to add images to your design. Have a look:
- Add image from the Canva image library. For example, if you click on Apps and select Photo, you can find here hundreds of photos that you can add to your designs.
- You can also add images from Elements option. When you click on it, it will display lots of different types of graphics, gifs, and illustrations.
- Canva also allows you to add your own images from your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Photos. To add an image, you need to select the Upload option.
In the below screenshot, you can see that I have add an image of a flower using the Element option located at the left of the editor.
In the final step (Step 3), we will learn how to curve an image in Canva using the Crop option.

Step 3: Curve Your Image
To curve an image in your design, we will first add a border to our image. Select your image and click on the Border Style icon as shown in the below screenshot to add a border to your image.
Now, you can select the type of border that you want to add to your image. To add curve to the border of your image, you can move the slider to the right as shown in the below screenshot.
In the below screenshot, you can see that I have add a border to my image and have also bend it a little from the corner using the slider option. It gives a nice curve effect to our image.
As I have already stated at the beginning of this article that there is no option in Canva to curve an image. However, using borders, you can add a curve effect to your image.
