How to Type Fractions in Google Docs?
First, you need to open a document by visiting the Home Page of Google Docs - https://docs.google.com.
Now, click on Blank Document to open a new document on Google Docs.
To add a fraction, we will use the Equation feature offered by Google Docs. Using this feature, we can easily add fraction to our document.
Let see how to use it.
First, click on Insert from the top menu and click on Equation.
Now, you need to click on Math Operations and select the option - a/b as shown below.
Next, to type fractions in Google Docs, you would first need to enter the numerator. Enter a number as numerator and press Enter.
Then, enter a number as denominator and press Enter. Please see the below screenshot for more information.
In the below screenshot, you can see that I have entered 3/4 as numerator and denominator for my fraction.
After entering both the numerator and the denominator, press the Enter button twice.
Below, you can see that I have perfectly added a fraction to my Google document.
