How to Sign Up for Brevo?
I have already earlier stated that Brevo offers a completely free plan for first-time users. In this section, I will tell you how to sign up for the free account offered by Brevo.
In just a few steps, you can easily set up a free Brevo account.
Step 1: Visit the Brevo website and click on the "Sign Up Free" button located in the top right corner of the page. It will open the registration page.
Step 2: On the registration page, enter your email address and password to register your account. You can even sign up with your Google or Apple account.

In the above screenshot, you can see an overview of the Brevo Dashboard where free features are enabled by default. For example, email templates, drag & drop editor, transactional emails, 300 emails/day sending limit, 500 push notifications, and more.
You can also see in the screenshot some features which are not enabled in the free plan. These are no daily sending limits, reporting & analytics, no Brevo logo, marketing automation, and more.
I would advise you get started with the Brevo free plan and once you get used to the plan, upgrade to its paid plans.
Sending Your First Email Campaign
In the earlier section, we've learned how to sign up for the free Brevo account. Now you can create your first email campaign for your email subscribers.
With Brevo, designing and sending emails is a breeze. Here's how:
Step 1: Create Your First Campaign
Login to your Brevo Dashboard, and go to Campaign and click on Email. Now select - Create an Email Campaign.
Enter a name for your campaign.
Now, select the email list to which you want to send your campaign. I hope you had already created your email list in the Brevo Dashboard. If you haven't done so, you can go to Contacts in the Dashboard and select Add a new list.
In the above screenshot, you can see that I have created an email campaign - New Blog Post. Here, you can select the sender's email, for example, [email protected] (see the image), your recipient (select your list), and add your email subject.
The email subject line should be catchy and engaging enough to entice subscribers to open the email.
The body of the email should contain relevant information about your product or service, followed by a clear call-to-action such as link to a sales page, a service page or a blog content.
Step 2: Customize the Content
Now you need to design your email content. For this, you need to select one of the layouts offered by Brevo. Remember that Brevo offers six different types of layouts which also include a blank layout.
Or, you can select from one of the templates offered by Brevo. A total of 42 templates are offered by Brevo which can be found under the Template Library (see the screenshot below).
After you select an email template, you can edit it by adding text, images or fonts. All the templates offered by Brevo can be customized to match your brand style, color, and logo.
You can personalize your email campaign by adding the <<first name>> of your subscribers in the subject line as well as in the content.
After editing the template and the content, it's time to test your campaign and finally send it to your subscribers.
Step 3: Test and send
Before you send the email campaign to all subscribers, take some time to test how the email looks across different devices and platforms - this will ensure that everyone receives an optimal experience despite their device preferences.
