Brevo Key Features
Brevo offers a robust set of automation features that allow you to automate your marketing workflows, save time, and boost engagement.
If you're a small business owner, I am sure that you'll definitely like its automation features. Have a look.
1. Creating automated workflows
Brevo's intuitive workflow builder allows you to create complex automated workflows without any coding.
You can set up triggers based on subscriber behaviors such as opening an email, clicking a link, or abandoning a cart, and then define specific actions that should follow each trigger.
For example, if a subscriber abandons a cart on your website, you can automatically send them an email reminder with a special offer.
By automating these types of workflows, you can save time by not having to manually send each email or perform manual data entry.
Additionally, these automated emails are more relevant and timely for your subscribers resulting in higher engagement rates.
2. Personalizing Your Emails with Dynamic Content
Brevo allows you to personalize your emails using dynamic content blocks based on subscriber data such as their location or past purchase history. This ensures that each subscriber receives an email customized just for them resulting in higher engagement rates.
You can also use dynamic content blocks within automated workflows allowing for even more personalized experiences for subscribers based on their behavior and interests.
3. A/B Testing Your Emails
Brevo makes it easy to A/B test different components of your emails such as subject lines, images, or call-to-actions (CTAs).
By testing these elements against one another over multiple campaigns with different audience segments you can determine what is resonating best with your audience, and optimize accordingly.
Overall, Brevo's automation features can save you time and increase engagement with your subscribers.
I am sure that by using the above mentioned automation workflows, personalization features, and A/B testing, you would be able to deliver more relevant and effective emails to your subscribers.

Sending Your First Email Campaign
In the earlier section, we've learned how to sign up for the free Brevo account. Now you can create your first email campaign for your email subscribers.
With Brevo, designing and sending emails is a breeze. Here's how:
Step 1: Create Your First Campaign
Login to your Brevo Dashboard, and go to Campaign and click on Email. Now select - Create an Email Campaign.
Enter a name for your campaign.
Now, select the email list to which you want to send your campaign. I hope you had already created your email list in the Brevo Dashboard. If you haven't done so, you can go to Contacts in the Dashboard and select Add a new list.
In the above screenshot, you can see that I have created an email campaign - New Blog Post. Here, you can select the sender's email, for example, [email protected] (see the image), your recipient (select your list), and add your email subject.
The email subject line should be catchy and engaging enough to entice subscribers to open the email.
The body of the email should contain relevant information about your product or service, followed by a clear call-to-action such as link to a sales page, a service page or a blog content.
Step 2: Customize the Content
Now you need to design your email content. For this, you need to select one of the layouts offered by Brevo. Remember that Brevo offers six different types of layouts which also include a blank layout.
Or, you can select from one of the templates offered by Brevo. A total of 42 templates are offered by Brevo which can be found under the Template Library (see the screenshot below).
After you select an email template, you can edit it by adding text, images or fonts. All the templates offered by Brevo can be customized to match your brand style, color, and logo.
You can personalize your email campaign by adding the <<first name>> of your subscribers in the subject line as well as in the content.
After editing the template and the content, it's time to test your campaign and finally send it to your subscribers.
Step 3: Test and send
Before you send the email campaign to all subscribers, take some time to test how the email looks across different devices and platforms - this will ensure that everyone receives an optimal experience despite their device preferences.
Brevo also offers A/B testing capabilities in which two different versions of an email are sent out simultaneously, allowing marketers to test variations in design or messaging before committing entirely.
Once all tests have been completed successfully, hit send!
You'll then be able to view detailed reports about how many people opened or clicked through on links in each of your campaigns allowing you deeper knowledge about what works best for engaging with your subscribers.
Brevo Review: Alternatives
When it comes to email marketing, there are a number of email marketing tools available in the industry. However, not all tools are created equal.
In this section, I’ll compare Brevo to some of its top competitors in terms of features, pricing, and overall user experience.
Brevo vs. Mailchimp
Mailchimp is one of the oldest and most popular email marketing platforms out there. It is often used as a benchmark for other tools in the industry.
While Mailchimp does offer a user-friendly interface and robust automation features, it falls short when it comes to pricing and customer support.
Brevo offers more competitive pricing plans and 24/7 live chat support that Mailchimp lacks.
In addition to its superior pricing structure and customer service options, Brevo also offers more advanced segmentation capabilities than Mailchimp.
With Brevo’s Dynamic Segments feature, users can create highly targeted customer groups based on specific behaviors or criteria – something that is not possible with Mailchimp’s basic segmenting options.
Brevo vs. Constant Contact
Like Mailchimp, Constant Contact is another well-known player in the email marketing space.
It is easy-to-use and offers pre-designed templates for quick campaign creation. However, this simplicity comes at the cost of customization options – something that sets Brevo apart.
Brevo offers a wider range of design templates and customization options such as drag-and-drop editing and customizable HTML emails which allows users more flexibility than Constant Contact's limited options do.
Brevo also has superior automation options with more triggers available for automated campaigns.
Brevo vs. Campaign Monitor
Campaign Monitor is a high-end email marketing tool often favored by larger enterprises due to its advanced features and customizable templates.
However, Brevo offers competitive pricing plans with many of the same features as Campaign Monitor, such as A/B testing, advanced segmentation options and customer journey mapping.
Where Brevo really shines is its user-friendly interface that makes it easy for even novice marketers to create professional-looking campaigns.
Campaign Monitor can be a bit overwhelming for those new to email marketing or with limited design experience. Additionally, Brevo's 24/7 customer support is another advantage over Campaign Monitor's limited support options.
These are some of the best Brevo alternatives in the email marketing industry.
Overall, while there are many great email marketing tools available on the market today, Brevo stands out for its combination of advanced features, competitive pricing plans that also include a free plan, and superior customer service.
Brevo Affiliate Program
Brevo also offers an attractive affiliate program where affiliates can earn €5 for every free account sign-up and an additional €100 if a user buys a recurring subscription plan by Brevo.
When you join the program, you get a unique referral link also called an affiliate link. You can promote these links to your target audience on your blog, social media, and email newsletters.
When a user clicks on your affiliate link, he/she will be directed to the Brevo website. And now, if the user sign up for the free account or buys a subscription plan, you would earn a commission.
Plus, the affiliate program offers a very long 90-day cookie period. So, if a user after clicking on your referral link doesn't buy immediately but buys within the 90 day period, you would still earn a commission.
Once you reach the minimum threshold amount of €100, Brevo will pay you via PayPal or Bank Transfer.
Who can join Brevo affiliate program? if you are a blogger, publisher, influencer, or content creator with a website business email address, you can join the program as an affiliate.
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) is the ultimate email marketing solution for small business owners and marketers. The user-friendly dashboard with easy-to-use features allows you to create beautiful email campaigns and automation workflows.
The advanced segmentation capabilities and integrations with other marketing tools, also make it easy for you to reach your target audience and grow your business.
